CISCO VPN mockup

So what I needed was a simulation of four different ISPs each with different static IP, all that to test my four VPN connections between them.

To get it going all I had to do is configure VLAN on dd-wrt and then set up wireless as the client to my Wi-Fi so I can access internet and all worked without any other adjustments

Disabling Windows Firewall using Group Policy in Windows 2008

  1. Go to Start > Administrative Tools > Policies
  2. Select the policy to edit (Usually: the default policy), right-click and choose “edit”.
  3. Go to Administrative Templates > Network > Network connections > Windows Firewall > Domain Profile.
  4. Disable the “Protect All Network connections” rule.  Just to be sure, you can do the same for the “Standard Profile”, as well.

gpupdate /force  to reload clients GPO
